This silky night serum for retinal regulars contains the strongest concentration of vitamin A to come out of the Crystal collection to date (that's a potent 2.0% retinaldehyde for all the skingredient buffs out there). Expect a complexion that appears smoother, brighter and oh-so-supple. That's not all though: the addition of hyaluronic acid, vitamin E and glycerin provides a soothing and hydrating pick-me-up to ensure that this super serum is gentle to even sensitive skin types.
Step 1: After cleansing in the evening, apply 2 pumps of Crystal Retinal to the face and neck. Allow to absorb then follow with a moisturiser. We recommend Advanced Night Restore which is specifically designed to be used after vitamin A.
Step 2: For new users of Crystal Retinal, phase application in gradually. Use twice a week for the first 2 weeks, every other night for the next 2 weeks, then every night. You should always use a sunscreen the next morning after using vitamin A. Crystal Retinal 20 should only be used by those who have comfortably finished at least 2 tubes of Crystal Retinal 10, due to it containing a very high strength of retinal (0.2%).

Medik8 are pioneers in the field of retinal and they haven't been bettered. So pleased to see the top strength version here - game changer as with rest of tiers. Build up to it but worth the gradual progression.

Love, love LOVE
I absolutely love this - I regularly use the Medik8 retinal and have been slowly building up my strengths and this has already started to leave my skin clearer and brighter! I have had no issues whatsoever (no reactions or breakouts) and can see this being a forever staple in my routine.

Top tier for retinol pros!
If you're experienced with retinol, this is a must-have. Even though it's got a high potency, it doesn't feel too harsh on my skin (but again, this is because I'm a retinol pro, so don't jump straight to 20 before working your way up there). Since using this, my skin's radiance has improved so much and I can't wait to see more enhancements as I keep using it.

A true miracle worker!
As someone with dry skin, I need to be careful when selecting which retinal to add to my routine. For years now, I’ve been turning to Medik8, as it not only visibility brightens and smooths my skin, but it doesn’t strip it of moisture. As an avid retinal user, I was so excited to try this stronger Vitamin A and it did not disappoint! At first, I layered it over my moisturiser so it acted like a buffer but now I use it every other evening and I’m already seeing noticeable changes. I can’t wait to see the long term results!

No Irritation!
I've been a loyal Medik8 Crystal Retinal user for years having worked my way up to 10, so jumped at the opportunity to try the new 20 strength. As this is double the strength of my usual, I was admittedly a bit apprehensive to try this (although I have normal skin and never reacted to actives before) and concerned about my skin drying out or peeling. I needn't have worried. Whilst only using for 3 weeks now, I followed their advice to gently work up to daily use over the course of a few weeks and have experienced no irritation whatsoever. I'm already noticing the results; more even complexion, less breakouts and softer, more supple skin. I can't wait to see the results after a few more weeks. The only downside (and by no means a deal breaker) is that it does leave you with a slight orange hue when applied but as it's part of my evening routine, it's doesn't bother me at all.

Amazing upgrade
Absolutely love this step up in strength of my favourite retinal. I do have to caveat that I am an established retinal user - having been consistent with the 10 for the last year. My skin is super sensitive but had no issues at all - no reactions and no breakouts. After 4 weeks of applying the 20 3 x per week my skin feels plumper, clearer and much more robust and glowing. Definitely a keeper in my routine!!!

It's safe to say I love this retinol! I'm a regular retinol user and didn't experience any redness or sensitivity at all. My skin looked noticeably clearer and brighter, and it cleared up a stubborn pigmentation area on my cheek. I'm using less make up as a result and it's taking me less time to get ready in the morning! It's a win from me :)

Highly Highly Recommended
I am super impressed with this higher strength Retinol. I've been using the 6 for the last year and jumped when this came my way. It's absolutely elevated my skin care game. I have sensitive skin but have had no problems at all with this gorgeous formula. I do have to caveat that you should step up through the strengths if you are not an experienced retinol user in order to build up comfortably - but I'm so happy with the strength and glow it has given my skin after just 3 weeks usage. No break outs either. Cant wait to continue to see more.
